Our charter rates are based on the trip type and not the number of people. We are able to take one to four people per trip. Hours are calculated from leaving the dock to returning back to the dock. Each additional extra hour over the reserved amount is charged at $100 per hour. Additional people over four will be charged $125 each.

Q. What is the best months for each Lake Ontario fish species?
A.Q. Do you filet our catch?
A. Due to strict regulations on fish carcass dumping, we no longer clean your catch. A properly equipped fish cleaning station is available to you within a few miles. A $3.00 per fish fee is charged for cleaning and carcass disposal.
Q. Do you require a deposit?
A. To reserve your dates for chartered services, a deposit of $200 per trip is required at the time of booking with the balance is due in cash upon arrival.
Q. Is tipping required after our trip?
A. I am often asked what is a customary tip for the mate or crew. We don’t require a tip but it is customary to tip the mate and or captain 10% to 20% of the total of the trip. If a tip is given to the Captain only, he splits it with the mate. If a tip is give to the mate it is all his. If you tip both it’s theirs. I strive to have all crew members work the entire trip to maximize fish catch and ensure you have the best time possible. My mates work their butts off! My motto has always been just keep working the fish will come.
Q. What is your refund policy?
A. We will gladly refund your deposit in full with a 90 day written notification. If you cancel with less than a 90 day written notice, and we can re-book your dates we will still give you a full refund. No refunds under 30 days. If we need to cancel your charter due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances you will receive the option of a 100% refund or applying your deposit towards another date.
Q. Are your rates per person or per trip?
A. All rates listed are for the entire fishing trip up our normal max of four people. Additional people cost $125 each.
Q. What age children are allowed on a charter?
A. We feel that is up to the parents since each case is unique. Parents need to be responsible for their children and they will be required to monitor them for safe and appropriate movement around a boat. Also keep in mind that children tend to be more prone to motion sickness so please prepare for that possibility beforehand.
Q. Will we get seasick?
A. It may be wavy so if anyone in your party suffers from motion sickness please have them take a Bonine 6-8 hrs prior to departure. Always contact your doctor, especially for children, they are especially sensitive to motion sickness. I have a 10 & 11 who get sick and if I give them a Bonine the night before and one in morning they never get sick. I can’t stress how important it is to medicate the night before the trip. After watching people for 20 years Bonine works much better than Dramamine. Over and over I watch Dramamine users ruin trips while Bonine users have a great time even in big waves. Also don’t load up motion sickness sufferers on coffee, Gatorade or and drinks containing citric acid or caffeine before or during the trip. Water is always the best. Important Note: Always check with your doctor first before taking any seasickness medicines!
Q. Ensure a Good Time!
A.Q. What items should we bring?
A.Q. What are your policies concerning smoking and alcohol?
A. Guests are permitted to smoke at the back of the boat as long as other guests are ok with it. If you wish to drink alcohol we allow one six pack per customer or one liquor bottle. Please drink responsibly and designate a non-drinking driver before your trip. If anyone appears to be intoxicated the captain reserves the right to end trip and return to port.
